Software for SAMEST
The SAM estimation course use the following software
- GAMS with full licenses
- Base module
- GAMS Conopt
- GAMS Path
- GAMS Knitro (optional)
- MS Excel
- PDF reader
- MP4 player
The GAMS licenses are available from http://www.gams.com from the ‘Sales’ menu. The demo license is not adequate for this course. We do not provide licenses.
The GAMS codes for the course were developed using GAMS Studio as the editor; the codes use feature in Studio that may or may not be available with other editors. This course does NOT use a GUI (Graphical User Interface) to access GAMS. It assumes the use of GAMS Studio.
WARNING
This course uses some advanced features of GAMS that require participants to have a strong working knowledge of GAMS (our Intro to GAMS and GAMS Studio materials are not a sufficient replacement for working experience of GAMS).
